Our OTR Microwave Service: A thorough inspection of the space for correct cabinet dimensions, mounting plate placement, venting path, and electrical requirements. Installed to manufacturer’s specifications, leveled, tested for fan and light operation. Connections are secured, and a full start-up with the customer is completed. We also provide free inspections and recommendations.
+ OTRs combine cooking, venting, and lighting functions in one appliance. Proper alignment, secure mounting, and correct vent configuration (recirculating, rear, or top-vented) are essential. Our team ensures the microwave is safely supported, vented properly, and fully operational.
PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
+ To help ensure a smooth installation, we kindly ask that you prepare the space in advance. Please remove any items from the surrounding area, including the cooktop below, to provide our technicians with a safe, unobstructed work space.
Cabinet size, countertop cutouts, venting path, and electrical supply are checked to ensure proper fit and compliance.

INSTALLATION
+ Our premium OTR microwave installation delivers a professional and courteous experience. The process includes a pre-installation consultation, appliance inspection, floor and counter protection, old appliance removal and recycling, location assessment, and any modifications or upgrades required.
+ The mounting bracket is securely installed, the upper cabinet holes for venting, electricity and cabinet mounting are confirmed and drilled, vent and electrical connections are completed, and functionality is tested. A complete cleanup with material disposal is included. Technicians provide a full walkthrough of features, maintenance tips, and recommendations.
VENTING & ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ OTR microwaves require precise cabinet modifications, proper duct routing—whether vertical, horizontal, or recirculating—and a reliable 120V electrical supply. Our technicians verify all structural support, cabinet clearances, and cutouts to ensure safe installation and strong performance.
+ We confirm electrical compatibility, reinforce cabinet integrity, and connect or adjust venting as needed. All ductwork is secured, tested for airflow, checked for obstructions, and a full suction test is performed. Every step is completed to meet manufacturer specifications and provincial code standards.
HELPFUL TIPS
+ Clean Filters Regularly – Wash or replace filters as recommended (most filters are dishwasher safe).
+ Replace Charcoal Filters – If recirculating, replace filters as recommended by manufacturer.
+ Be Sure to Use When Cooking – Avoid cooking on range top without fan on, this will ensure steam and exhaust is properly vented.
