PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
To help ensure a smooth installation, we kindly ask that you prepare the space in advance. Please remove any items from the surrounding area to provide our technicians with a safe, unobstructed work space.
Wall/ceiling surface, venting path, and electrical supply are checked to ensure proper fit and compliance.

INSTALLATION
+ Our premium chimney hood installation delivers a professional and courteous experience. The process includes a pre-installation consultation, appliance inspection, floor protection, old appliance removal and recycling, appliance location assessment, perform any modifications or upgrades (electrical relocation, electrical box etc).
+ Unit is secured with expert vent and electrical connections, airflow testing, and a complete cleanup with material disposal. When needed, our team is equipped to cut out wall or ceiling openings and duct openings. Technicians provide a full walkthrough of features, maintenance tips, and recommendations.
VENTING, GAS & ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Chimney hood fans require the correct vent size for efficient performance, a proper venting path—whether ducted or recirculating—adequate mounting clearances, especially 30–36 inches above gas burners, and a dedicated electrical supply. In some cases, the electrical connection may need to be relocated or an electrical box added depending on the installation scenario.
Our technicians ensure that all requirements meet manufacturer specifications and provincial code standards. Electrical connections are verified for the correct voltage and safe operation. Venting ducts are connected, secured, sealed with high-grade aluminum tape, checked for airflow, and tested for proper suction. Mounting heights, wall or ceiling clearances, anchoring points, and chimney alignment are thoroughly inspected to ensure safe and optimal performance.

+ Clean Filters Regularly – Clean Filters Regularly – Wash or replace metal and charcoal filters as recommended (most filters are dishwasher safe)
+ Wipe Down Grease – Inspect & clean hood fan for grease (wipe down, shell, behind filters, controls and inspect)
+ Be Cautious Cleaning Chimney – Avoid pressing too heavily on the chimney shell as most shells are screwed in at the top but it only floats at bottom. Pushing can cause the shell to un groove from slot and potentially cause damage.
