Our Pop-up Vent Service includes inspection of cabinet dimensions, countertop cutouts, clearances, venting path, and electrical requirements. Vents are installed to manufacturer specifications, leveled, tested for airflow and lift operation, with all connections secured.
Downdraft pop-up vents are precisely integrated with cooktops, cabinetry, and countertops, ensuring proper cutouts, duct routing, and alignment for smooth, long-term performance. Modifications or reinforcements may be made based on cabinetry, duct layout, countertops, flooring, or appliance model, and we provide a full start-up with the customer plus free inspections and recommendations.
PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
+ To help ensure a smooth installation, we kindly ask that you prepare the space in advance. Please remove any items from the surrounding area, including inside cabinetry below the cooktop, to provide our technicians with a safe, unobstructed work space.

INSTALLATION

When needed, our team is equipped to cut cabinet openings, adjust duct runs, and reinforce supports. A complete cleanup with material disposal is included. VENTING, GAS & ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Downdraft systems require precise cabinet modifications, vertical or horizontal duct routing, and a dedicated electrical supply. Our technicians ensure all requirements are met to manufacturer and provincial code standards. Electrical connections are confirmed for proper voltage, amperage, and safe operation.
+ Cabinet cutouts, reinforcements, and duct clearances are verified for safety and performance. Ducts are connected, secured, wrapped with high-grade aluminum tape, checked for airflow and obstructions, and a suction test is performed. In cases where the venting configuration does not align with the downdraft duct, our team can source a custom-fabricated vent box to accommodate the installation.
