INSTALL + parts & modifications

Our Insert Hood Fan Service: A thorough inspection of the space for correct cabinet dimensions & liner cut-out, clearances, venting, and electrical requirements. Installed to manufacturer’s specifications, leveled, tested for airflow, and proper operation. Connections are secured, and a full start-up with the customer is completed. We also provide free inspections and recommendations.

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION

To help ensure a smooth installation, we kindly ask that you prepare the space in advance. Please remove any items from the surrounding area to provide our technicians with a safe, unobstructed work space.

Cabinet size, venting, and electrical supply are checked to ensure proper fit and compliance.

Our team reviews a detailed installation checklist to prepare your space and appliance.

We evaluate the setup and identify any parts or adjustments needed to meet safety and code standards.

INSTALLATION

Our premium Insert hood installation delivers a professional and courteous experience. The process includes a pre-installation consultation, appliance inspection, floor protection, old appliance removal and recycling, appliance location assessment, perform any modifications or upgrades

Unit is secured with expert vent and electrical connections, airflow testing, and a complete cleanup with material disposal. When needed, our team is equipped to cut out cabinet openings and duct openings. Technicians provide a full walkthrough of features, maintenance tips, and recommendations.

VENTING, GAS & ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

Insert hood fans require accurate cabinet modifications, proper venting, specific clearances, and a dedicated electrical supply. Our technicians ensure all requirements are met to manufacturer and provincial code standards.

+ Electrical – Outlet or hardwire connection is confirmed for proper voltage and safe operation.

+ Cabinetry & Clearances – Cabinet cutout dimensions and liner alignment verified for safety and performance.

+ Venting – Ducts are connected, secured, and checked for airflow and obstructions.

+ Clean Filters Regularly – Clean Filters Regularly – Wash or replace metal and charcoal filters as recommended (most filters are dishwasher safe)

+ Wipe Down Grease – Inspect & clean hood fan for grease (wipe down, shell, behind filters, controls and inspect)

+ Keep Surrounding Area Clean – Avoid storing items near the range hood or vent duct.
